Paul Linsdell has broad experience across all aspects of legal costing. A Melbourne University graduate, Paul commenced practice with a major Australian firm. He later worked in commercial environments and insurance, before forming the partnership that became Blackstone Legal Costing.

Recently Paul Linsdell has concentrated on drawing bills of costs in the Supreme Court for various commercial clients. As a practicing solicitor, he appears on taxations in Supreme and County Courts as well as all other Victorian jurisdictions.

Alan Thompson

Director/Costs Consultant

Alan Thompson is a Blackstone Legal Costing founding partner. Drawing on his WorkCover,  personal injury litigation and insurance expertise, Alan established a specialist legal costing practice in 1994. Acting for plaintiff law firms, this practice became the partnership known as Blackstone Legal Costing today.

A passionate exponent of his craft, Alan Thompson holds regular costs recovery and file management seminars. He draws bills of costs and appears on taxations across all Victorian jurisdictions.

Charlie Kritikos
BA, SSC, Grad Dip IR

Director/Costs Consultant

Charlie Kritikos graduated from Melbourne University and has over 9 years legal costing experience. Focussing on personal injury law, he is primarily involved in the assessment and calculation of legal costs and disbursements. Charlie advises on Party‐Party and Solicitor‐Client costs entitlements in County Court and all other Victorian jurisdictions.

After several years in senior management, Charlie Kritikos recently became a Blackstone Legal Costing director.
