Romaine joined Blackstone Legal Costing in 2014 after having completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Diploma in Criminology at Monash University in 2011. She completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Leo Cussen Institute in 2013 and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria in early 2014.
Romaine’s pre-admission experience working as a paralegal in a suburban family and criminal law firm and an American personal injury firm was seminal.
Romaine has practiced as a Costs Lawyer in Victoria and New South Wales and is skilled across both jurisdictions. Through the opportunity to work in two discrete jurisdictions, the firm has afforded Romaine with the opportunity to be exposed to a broad range of costs matters.
She has a genuine interest in the complexities of commercial costs disputes and is determined to achieve the best result for her clients.
